  • name, brand or company name;
  • email address;
  • information about your current work and website status;
  • the goal set for the website;

If an enquiry develops into a collaboration, the following may also be collected:

  • correspondence history by email and WhatsApp;
  • the client’s website content — copy, logo, photos and other materials;
  • payment information, such as the payer’s name, bank account number, payment amount and purpose;
  • technical access information needed to build and maintain the website.

3. How personal data is collected

Personal data may be collected:

  • by filling in the enquiry form on the website;
  • through communication by email or WhatsApp;
  • during the provision of the service and related correspondence;
  • when making a bank transfer.

4. Purposes of processing personal data

Personal data is used to:

  • respond to the enquiry and arrange a 20-minute call;
  • prepare and build the requested website;
  • provide monthly technical maintenance;
  • organise and keep track of payments;
  • fulfil accounting and tax requirements;
  • protect our rights and resolve any potential disputes.

Personal data is not used to send unsolicited marketing messages.

5. Legal basis for processing personal data

Personal data is processed based on:

  • actions taken at the person’s request prior to providing the service, and the performance of the service contract;
  • the controller’s legal obligations, including accounting and tax requirements;
  • the controller’s legitimate interests in ensuring communication and protecting its rights.

6. Is providing personal data mandatory

Providing personal data is voluntary. However, without the information needed to review the enquiry and communicate, it may not be possible to contact the person or provide the requested service.

7. Recipients of personal data

Data may be shared with or become accessible to:

  • website hosting and technical maintenance providers;
  • providers of WordPress and the plugin technologies used;
  • the email service provider;

  • government or law enforcement authorities in cases provided for by law.

Personal data is not sold or passed on to other parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

8. Cookies

The website uses only technically necessary cookies that support core site functions, security, and the enquiry form. These cookies are used without visitor consent, since the site could not function correctly without them.

If a visitor consents to the “Analytics” cookie category in the cookie banner, the website uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to gather anonymised statistics about site visits. For this purpose, the _ga and _ga_* cookies are set in the browser. Without this consent, analytics cookies are not activated.

Cookie preferences can be reviewed at any time via “Cookie settings” in the site footer.

9. Client website data

When providing website build and maintenance services, ManaLapa may have access to the content and technical environment of the client’s website, including the client’s visitor data, if the client uses analytics or contact forms on their own site.

In such cases, the client is the controller of the relevant personal data, and ManaLapa acts as a data processor on the client’s behalf, processing data only to the extent necessary to provide the build and maintenance service.

10. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area

Certain technology service providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer is carried out using applicable data-protection safeguards, such as the European Commission’s approved standard contractual clauses or other safeguards provided for by law.

11. Personal data retention periods

Personal data is not kept longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained:

  • enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are kept for no longer than 6 months;
  • correspondence and project materials related to a collaboration are kept for the duration of the collaboration and for no longer than 2 years afterwards;
  • payment and accounting records are kept for the period required by law;
  • if a dispute arises or legal protection is needed, relevant data may be kept until the dispute is finally resolved.

Once the retention period has ended and there is no other legal basis for keeping the data, it is deleted or anonymised.

12. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • receive information about the processing of your personal data;
  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • in certain cases, request deletion of your data;

At the same time, no system for transmitting or storing data can guarantee absolute security.
